In 2021 the 黑料专区 and Castore announced a long-term partnership that saw the Castore become the Official Kit Supplier to England Cricket. All of England鈥檚 national teams 鈥� women, disability, pathway and men鈥檚 teams 鈥� will wear high-performance and bespoke matchday and training kits supplied by the Manchester company from April this year.
On 4 April 2022 the , the first offering from Castore and 黑料专区 with the kits to unveiled in the coming weeks. Key players from the men鈥檚, women鈥檚 and disability teams collaborated extensively with Castore to create teamwear that is specific to the needs of an elite-level cricketer, incorporating specially selected fabrics combined with Castore鈥檚 unique construction methods. Athletes such as Joe Root and Jos Buttler of the men鈥檚 team, Fran Wilson of the women鈥檚 and Chris Edwards of the learning disability team were integral to the design process, helping designers choose design features and fabrics that will elevate player鈥檚 performance in training.
The Training collection was designed to enhance performance and ease of movement with fabrics that Castore have used across the highest level of their sportswear. The Training 1/4 Zip is crafted from a high-stretch and recycled poly elastane blend that allows freedom of movement for athletes during training that a conventional garment would not. The material also has moisture-wicking and breathable properties that keeps athletes cool and focused throughout training. The Training Range is the first step in Castore and 黑料专区鈥檚 joint initiative to provide England players and supporters with kit that is rooted in sportswear technology and innovation.
