Yorkshire County Cricket Club admitted four amended charges in breach of 黑料专区 Directive 3.3, after which the CDC Panel held a sanction hearing on Tuesday 27 June 2023.
The CDC Panel has today reprimanded and fined Yorkshire County Cricket Clubs a total of 拢400,000 and issued an immediate 48-point deduction in the 2023 County Championship, as well as a four-point deduction from the 2023 T20 Blast.
The CDC Panel has published the full reasons for the sanctions, which is .
The Panel鈥檚 sanctions against Yorkshire County Cricket Club are:
- Reprimand
- Yorkshire County Cricket Club has been fined a total of 拢400,000, broken down as follows in relation to each charge:
- 拢80,000 in respect of Charge 1;
- 拢50,000 in respect of Charge 2;
- 拢135,000 in respect of Charge 3; and
- 拢135,000 in respect of Charge 4;
聽 聽 聽 拢300,000 of the fine to be suspended for a period of two years.
- Yorkshire County Cricket Club is immediately imposed points sanctions of:
- A 48-point deduction in the 2023 County Championship in respect of Charge 1;
- A four-point deduction in the 2023 T20 Blast in respect of Charge 1.
Should any party wish to appeal they will have 14 days to do so from the date on which these decisions are handed down, namely by close of business on Friday 11 August 2023.
These CDC sanction decisions have been made by an independent panel consisting of Tim O鈥橤orman (Chair of the CDC), Professor Seema Patel and聽Mark Milliken-Smith KC.
