The England Women鈥檚 selection panel has named the squads for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies, which begins on 21 May.
Led by new captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, England will contest three Vitality IT20s and three Metro Bank One Day Internationals.
The IT20 series, the first under Sciver-Brunt and head coach Charlotte Edwards鈥� leadership, gets underway with the opening match on Wednesday 21 May in Canterbury.聽

Warwickshire duo Emily Arlott and Issy Wong are selected. Arlott, who is yet to make her international debut, is named in both groups. She scored a century batting at number seven against Essex and has taken 13 wickets so far in the Metro Bank One Day Cup. Fast bowler Wong impressed for England Women A in their recent tour of Australia and in her county鈥檚 opening matches.
There are ODI returns for Alice Davidson-Richards (Surrey) and Emma Lamb (Lancashire). Davidson-Richards last represented her country against Sri Lanka in an ODI in September 2023, while Lamb is the leading run-scorer in the country, also taking 12 wickets in her opening six matches for Lancashire.聽
The Blaze鈥檚 opening batter Tammy Beaumont and spinner Linsey Smith 鈥� the leading wicket-taker in the Metro Bank One Day Cup - are selected in both squads. Sophie Ecclestone has been unable to play domestic cricket due to a knee injury and her return to the Lancashire side has come too late for her to be deemed ready for selection for this series.
Meanwhile, the 黑料专区 is delighted to confirm Lydia Greenway as England Women鈥檚 new National Selector. 聽The former England batter will work alongside Head Coach Edwards, Managing Director Clare Connor and Performance Director Jonathan Finch as part of the four-strong selection panel. Greenway has advised on the selection of this squad.
Charlotte Edwards said: 鈥淲e have selected squads on the back of strong performances and form in the opening rounds of the Metro Bank One Day Cup. That was the challenge to the players and I鈥檝e been so impressed by what I鈥檝e seen across the competition.
鈥淚t鈥檚 great to be able to reward that form, and to see one or two new faces in the squad, as well as the return of a few others. I鈥檓 sure they鈥檒l be delighted and they can be proud of what they鈥檝e done in order to be selected.
鈥淔ollowing her knee injury, Sophie Ecclestone is physically not quite at 100% yet. She's been rehabbing and working hard but she鈥檚 only just got back on the park for Lancashire so she doesn't have enough cricket under her belt to be ready for this series.
鈥淎ll-rounders Freya Kemp (back) and Danielle Gibson (stress fracture) are both unavailable due to injury. Lauren Filer鈥檚 return from a knee injury continues positively and she will continue to be reviewed.
鈥淢aia Bouchier misses out having been a part of the Ashes series, Maia鈥檚 talent is there for all to see and the challenge to her is to go and make consistent match-winning contributions for Hampshire in domestic cricket. It鈥檚 the same for any player who鈥檇 disappointed to not be a part of these squads.
