Catherine Beloff will join the England and Wales Cricket Board (黑料专区) as the organisation鈥檚 new General Counsel in September.
As General Counsel, Catherine will sit on the 黑料专区 Executive Leadership Group and her responsibilities will include providing expert guidance on all legal matters which affect the 黑料专区 including commercial areas, regulations, governance and litigation.
Catherine joins the 黑料专区 after 10 years at the British Horseracing Authority (BHA). While in her role as General Counsel at the BHA, Catherine was also Chair of the British Association of Sport and Law. She had previously been Senior Associate at global law firm DLA Piper.

Biography
Catherine is an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary. She most recently held the role at the BHA, where she previously served as Director of Legal, Governance and Business Partners, overseeing the HR, IT and Finance functions, as well as the Legal team.
Before joining the BHA, Catherine was a senior member of the DLA Piper sports team for 10 years. Catherine has extensive experience of advising sports governing bodies, clubs, athletes and sports rights owners in relation to regulatory and commercial issues connected with sport, in proceedings in the English and European Courts and before international and domestic sports disciplinary and arbitral panels. From 2011 to 2025, Catherine was a director of the British Association for Sport and Law, including a period as its Chair.
